Swiss-French-Sudanese mission in Kerma - Doukki Gel (H1)

The Swiss-French-Sudanese Kerma - Doukki Gel mission was set up in 2012. Since 2022, it has been under the responsibility of three co-directors, each representing one of the partner countries in this international project. They are Séverine Marchi, Director of the French Section of the Sudan Antiquities Authority (SFDAS), Xavier Droux, curator at the Fondation Gandur pour l'Art Image carte Soudan, external collaborator at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Geneva, and Abdel Hay Abdel Sawy, Director of Excavations at the National Corporation for Antiquities and Museums (NCAM).
